Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Last updated: 2026

EventMate keeps browser storage minimal and uses it to make the app work — not to build advertising profiles. This page explains what we store in your browser.

1. Local storage for your wedding plan

While you build a plan in “Plan My Wedding”, your selections can be saved in your browser's local storage so you don't lose them if you refresh. When you sign in and send requests, the relevant details are saved to your account.

2. Authentication & session cookies

Login and session handling is provided by Supabase Auth. It stores session tokens in your browser so you stay signed in securely between visits. Clearing these will sign you out.

3. Preferences

Small UI preferences (such as whether a dashboard section is expanded) may be stored locally to remember how you like the app.

4. Analytics & future tracking

EventMate does not run intrusive advertising trackers. If basic, privacy-respecting analytics are added in future to understand usage, this page will be updated to describe them.

5. Clearing browser storage

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and may remove an unsent local plan. Signed-in data saved to your account is not affected.
