1. Service
EventMate is a marketplace that helps couples in Pakistan discover marriage halls and wedding services and helps vendors reach more customers. EventMate is not the venue operator or caterer — final contracts are between the customer and the vendor.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for the activity on your account. Provide accurate phone numbers and email addresses so we can reach you about your bookings.
3. Bookings
A booking request on EventMate is a request for the vendor's attention. The booking is only confirmed once the vendor accepts it and any required payment proof is verified. Estimates shown in PKR (Rs.) are indicative — the vendor's final quote applies.
4. Payments and refunds
Customers upload payment proofs (bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa receipts). EventMate's admin team verifies the receipt and the vendor remains responsible for delivering the contracted service. Refund and cancellation terms are between the customer and the vendor unless EventMate is explicitly contacted.
5. Vendor conduct
Vendors must accurately represent their venues, capacity and amenities. See our Vendor Policy for the full requirements.
6. Admin review & moderation
EventMate's admin team reviews vendor sign-ups and venue listings before they go live, and reviews payment proofs before bookings are marked as paid. We may approve, request changes to, or reject any suspicious or misleading listing at our sole discretion. We may also suspend vendors who repeatedly fail to honour confirmed bookings.

8. Limitation of liability
EventMate is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Pakistani law, EventMate is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the marketplace.
9. Changes to these terms
EventMate may update these terms from time to time — for example, when new payment methods or features are launched. We will publish the latest version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of EventMate after an update means you accept the new terms.
