Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account on EventMate we store your name, phone number and email. Vendors additionally provide business details (business name, city, country and a public description). Customers may store booking requests, guest lists (name, phone, RSVP), budget items and payment proofs inside their account.

2. How we use your information

Your data is used only to deliver the EventMate service: matching customers with verified marriage halls, relaying booking requests to vendors, verifying payment proofs and providing customer support. We do not sell personal information to third parties and we do not send marketing emails on behalf of third parties.

3. Guest list privacy

The guest list you build inside EventMate (names, phone numbers, RSVP, table allocations) belongs to you. Only you can read or edit your guest list — vendors and other EventMate users cannot see it.

4. Contact information

When a booking is confirmed, EventMate shares the customer's contact phone with the vendor (and the vendor's phone with the customer) so they can coordinate the event directly. Outside a confirmed booking, contact details are not shared.

5. Payments

EventMate does not store credit card or bank account numbers. Customers upload payment receipts (screenshots of bank transfer / JazzCash / Easypaisa) which are reviewed by our admin team and the relevant vendor. Receipts are stored privately and accessed only with a short-lived signed URL.

6. Data storage

We use Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL service) to store account, booking and payment metadata. Row-level security policies are used so customers can only access their own data and vendors can only access bookings for their own venues.

7. Your choices

You can update your profile at any time from your dashboard. To delete your EventMate account, write toprivacy@eventmate.pk from your registered email and we will action it within a reasonable time frame.
