Vendor Policy

Last updated: 2026

This policy applies to every vendor (marquee owner, marriage hall, caterer, decor, etc.) who lists on EventMate. By creating a vendor account you confirm that you have read and accept these rules.

1. Real business information

Vendors must provide real, verifiable business information — owner name, business name, working phone number, and the city / area where the venue is located. EventMate may reject sign-ups that look fake or ask for additional proof (CNIC, utility bill, business registration) before approving the listing.

2. Accurate venue photos and prices

Photos uploaded with a listing must be of the actual venue. Do not upload pictures from the internet or from other halls. Prices, capacity and amenities shown on the listing must match what the customer actually receives on the event date.

3. Fake or misleading listings

EventMate's admin team reviews each listing before it goes public. Listings that are misleading, duplicate, or contain false claims (e.g. wrong capacity, fake amenities, stolen photos) will be removed. Repeated violations will result in the vendor account being suspended without refund of any platform fees.

4. Service quality

The vendor is fully responsible for the quality of the service delivered to the customer on the event day — venue cleanliness, catering, staff, decor and timely setup. EventMate is the marketplace; the contract for the event itself is between the vendor and the customer.

5. Communication with customers

Vendors are expected to respond to booking requests in a reasonable time (ideally within 24 hours) and to communicate clearly about availability, advance payment, and any change in pricing. Vendors must not push customers to pay outside EventMate's payment-proof flow before a booking is confirmed.

6. Honouring confirmed bookings

Once a vendor accepts a booking and the payment proof is verified by admin, the vendor commits to delivering the venue / service on the agreed date. Cancellation by the vendor without genuine reason can lead to suspension and the customer being offered a refund per our Refund Policy.

7. Policy updates

EventMate may update this Vendor Policy as the marketplace evolves. Any change will be published on this page and notified inside the vendor dashboard. Continued use of your vendor account after an update means you accept the revised policy.
